HAPPENINGS IN NEUSS

Many events pop up and disappear with little or no advertising. Some activities are small or unique. Such happenings are posted in this calendar. A  source of possible surprise and discovery.

Neuss may be a relatively small city but there is much going here. Happenings include concerts, theatre performances, an exhibit vernissage or finissage. Spontaneous celebrations, an opening, anniversary or a pop-up market can be thoroughly enjoyable too.

Happenings often take place with surprisingly little publicity. Just a few local nationals attend. Many in the expat community of Neuss, Düsseldorf and the region adore these gatherings.

The calendar below offers expats a quick, easy and simple way to discover current activities all on one page. Please confirm to take note of any cancellations or changes.

The choirs of the music school "Cantica Nova" and the chamber choir "Musica Mundi" of Cologne present a musical journey through time on the theme of "water". Water is multifaceted, element and elixir of life, building block and road, symbol and mysterious habitat, archetype and origin of all life and yet threatening. So it is no wonder that this fascinating motif has always been a source of inspiration for poets and musicians. Both choirs present works ranging from classical to pop songs and, accompanied by Ulrich Deppe on the piano, pass through calm musical waters as well as dramatic floods. Admission is free. Romaneum
