SURROUNDINGS IN NEUSS
The countryside surrounding the region of Neuss varies from undulating hills, flat pastures and fields to steeper valleys and plateaus. Local cultures, diverse traditions and a long history are all visible in and around the smaller municipalities in the vicinity.
The Ruhr Metropolis is just 30 minutes along the motorway to the north east, the Dutch border a half an hour to the west. The south reveals the riverside cities of Cologne and Bonn, whilst a trip north soon sees wider open spaces arrive on the horizon.
