Beer Gardens in Neuss

An essentially typical German invention, the beer garden is certainly communicative and a perfect place to meet new friends and old. Some are open throughout the year, not just on sunny and warm days. Beer gardens, Biergarten, in Neuss can be found in various parts of the city and on the outskirts.

As the name says, the most popular drink to partake of is beer. Choose between the local dark beer, Altbier, a lager, Pils, or a popular wheat beer, Weizenbier, from Bavaria, which is normally served with a slice of lemon. Sometimes a traditional pretzel, Brezel, is served to accompany the beer. Wine is naturally also available.
